Something wonderful

Recently the Age published a great picture of the Mangonui waterfront boardwalk. It is great to see something wonderful to come out of controversy.

This amazing public amenity will enhance the community's enjoyment of a very popular Northland feature.

Our previous Mayor can take some pride from this as an appropriate memento of his reign in office. The lesson for the rest of us is to ensure that when a job is done, it is best right the first time.

Long may Mangonui community and their visitors enjoy what is truly a very welcome asset that also has an artistic aura to enhance it.
