Talley ban continues

Te Hiku Mana members are pleased that the three-month lock-out against AFFCO workers is over and that the workers can return to work. However, Te Hiku Mana members will continue to boycott Talley products for three months, until August, to remind the company they cannot treat hard-working employees so despicably.

Families have been pushed to the wall, unable to pay bills, and will probably take a year to recover financially from the lock-out. The nature of the AFFCO lock-out of some workers has also caused rifts between long-term friends.

Talley's reputation is tarnished given its treatment to Moerewa, the highest-performing meat workers' plant in the country.
