A real destination
We have rellies in Peria, and often come up to visit around Christmas. This year we decided to take our kids up to Cape Reinga and do the tourist thing.
We hadn't been up that way for 20 years, and were really impressed with the way the
Cape and other attractions have been enhanced with thoughtful and beautifully-designed buildings, car parks and signage. Similarly, the information on the way to the Te Paki dunes was great. The work put into the places gives you a real feeling of reaching a destination.
Well done to the Department of Conservation and any other parties involved.
