I love this town, but of late I'm beginning to wonder where it's headed when some kid thinks it's perfectly ok to punch a shop owner in the face in broad daylight.
This happened around 4.15pm on Tuesday, when some little punk sucker-punched the owner of a dairyin the middle of town and no one stopped to help or intervene. Not one person seemed to care.
No doubt this little git will be utterly blameless for whatever reason the "system" thinks up if he is caught.
Why are there kids drinking alcohol in broad daylight in the middle of town when there is supposed to be a liquor ban in place?
Obviously money is no problem, and the tough times that most of us face do not affect them.
No doubt when he/they leave school they will contribute nothing to society but will reap all the benefits, financial or otherwise. What a shame we can't cull the herd, so to speak.
