I just have to say that I attended the Internet Party and Mana Party political rally with hope in my heart that our youth of today, good and bad, will receive the help that is so urgently needed to stop all the bad things happening in today'sworld.
Being a grandmother with teenage grandchildren, meeting a lot of their friends on my way, they all have the same attitudes, we're bored, no challenges.
I looked on Kim Dotcom with his big smile beaming back at everyone from Kaitaia, and then listened as he spoke about his life experiences, good and bad, and how he lived in his comfortable bubble with no need to come out until such a time as his bubble got busted. He realised he may be 40 years old, but at heart he is still a big kid, and because of this he decided he wanted to share his toys, being the tools of his trade, technology, and all he has to offer.
My heart was smiling at last. This big mega giant named Kim Dotcom is the man who can help our youth of today.
Hone Harawira and Kim Dotcom were brought together, led by one of our youth sharing with Hone his views and ideas he would like to see and to hook up with technology.
The two men were then, unbeknown, guided together to form the Internet Mana Party because of the need we so urgently want for our youth.
Friendship, genuine friendship, good talks is what formed this extraordinary party, brought together by being inspired by one of our youth. The doors are now starting to open up for them, by sharing dreams and aspirations.
I am very glad that I attended the Internet Mana Party rally, and I compliment you all within those parties on all your good works and look forward to seeing the positive outcomes in the future. Actions are what we want for all, especially our youth, our futuristic generations.
Thank you Kim Dotcom, and thank you Hone Harawira. I wish only the best for all.
