A great occasion
Nga Mahi mo te Tangata wishes to thank all those fellow community groups that we had the privilege of meeting last night at the FNDC/TrustPower community awards. It was a great occasion, and a testament to the organisers on the smooth running of such an important occasion.
Important in that an informal hui was created at which community groups such as ours could meet with like-minded people in such an meaningful manner. And what an eclectic group of community there was.
It's at such events I guess one really finds out what's actually happening out there in the community, and what a great community we are if we were to go on the testimonials presented at the awards.
We at 'Working for the People' would like to thank all the community groups that we have worked with during the last two or three years, and we look forward to working with you all again in the future, because we believe this is one of the answers for the Far North, community groups networking; it has a feel good about it, and of course it can be a lot of fun.
