Day well made

I just wanted to thank the three young men who returned my wallet after I left it on the public seat outside a shop in the middle of Commerce Street.

It was Christmas Eve, and I had taken time out from last-minute Christmas shopping to buy an ice cream for myself and my daughter. After eating our ice creams, and enjoying watching the world go by, I walked off, leaving the wallet behind, but realised my mistake when I arrived at the supermarket.

I raced back to where I had last used it and rushed around with a panicked look on my face (particularly concerned because of banks' new habit of handing out credit cards which can be used without any need for formal I.D.), only to be approached by the three lads in question, who calmly told me they'd found the wallet, looked inside to see who it belonged to and immediately strolled up to my workplace and promptly dropped it off.

Thanks guys, you made my day.
