Finally a sea change

Question regarding today's extraordinary editorial by Peter Jackson, 'Time's up for rodeo.' Is this the same Peter Jackson who directed The Lord of the Rings trilogy? Please advise.

Needless to say, I'm in full agreement with the writer's sentiments about rodeo. Heartfelt thanks for running this piece.

I'll see to it that it is widely read here in the States.

I've been working on these issues for more than 30 years now. I think we're finally on a sea change regarding animal welfare issues. Humans not so much ...

PS: With profound apologies to your country and the world for the Trump administration and their hateful and divisive policies, a new nightmare to report almost daily. I fear for America and democracy itself. Me, I favour impeachment. And the sooner the better.
