Happiness is taking part in (or applauding) Kaitaia's Christmas parade.

Happiness is taking part in (or applauding) Kaitaia's Christmas parade.

Planning is well under way for Kaitaia's Santa parade, at 2pm on Saturday December 15, and Shine on Kaitaia is ready for a tsunami of float registrations.

Registration for floats and/or groups is free, with spot prizes to be won.

"It could even be a team-building kaupapa for your group or business," Kirsty Saxon said.

"Planning, designing and making a float, or even a walking entry, is the perfect way to get out and spend time with friends, colleagues and whanau. Not to mention the joy it brings our tamariki, mokopuna, community, and of course the big fella himself."

Registrations of interest should go to Kirsty, email kirstyannesaxon@gmail.com
