Emergency staff have been called to a fire at the Kaitaia Gun Club, in Northland.

A police spokesperson confirmed they were called to the scene around 4.15am.

It was not yet clear whether the cause of the fire was suspicious.

There were no injuries, and enquiries were underway.

Tuesday morning's fire followed a suspicious blaze which completely destroyed the clubrooms on February 13.

Kaitaia Gun club representative Mark Shaw declined to comment on what may have caused the latest fire.

"I just found out ... I don't know what to think," he said.

"The police are dealing with it now."
