The renowned Seeka Dinghy Race in Kerikeri is to be reinstated after a lapse of several years with organisers confirming the date as Sunday, January 5, 2014. Entries were now open for the Kerikeri Cruising Club event, which is open to not only dinghies but also kayaks, skiffs, paddleboards and various other classes of craft, and also a junior division for those aged up to 12. The event will start from the Stone Store at 10am and finish at the Kerikeri Cruising Club where prizegiving will take place. There is also a starting point from Rangitane for those wanting a shorter course.
