Creative Centre Moves Into Town

The widely-known Euro Design Style has moved from Waipapa to Kerikeri to become the umbrella company for the Tile Warehouse and Guthrie Bowron. They are operating from brand new premises in Homestead Road.

Guthrie Bowron is one of the country's leading decorating specialist stores. In fact having been founded in 1896, it is also one of the oldest. A national marketing make-over saw a name change to GB Inspired which means that products from international top designers are now available in the Far North.

Moreover, Guthrie Bowron has a vested relationship with Dulux so the move to the new Kerikeri store will see the re-introduction of the prominent interior and exterior paint products.

The new store features top designer wallpaper brands and textiles - they are stocking six of the country's top textile designer brands in addition to well-known house brands. The Tile Warehouse, meanwhile, retains the diverse range of contemporary tiles, mosaics marbles and travertine stone sourced globally.

Owner, operator Julia Giacomelli says the combination of the Tile Warehouse and Guthrie Bowron can offer customers a design and interior decorating consultancy as well as a greatly enhanced product range under the one roof.

"It means you can walk in with your house plans and walk out, having created your very personal and innovative home design" she says simply.
