Collards Sports Bar was the venue for the 90 Mile v Raiders clash.
In a sublime display Raiders captain Derek Ashley led the team with 13 and 14 dart consecutive legs, top scoring and also hitting a 180.
90 Miler Steve Doak hit 14 ton plus scores along with the match high finish of 117. Both teams had good scoring but 90 Mile started well and reeled them in to win the match 11-5.
Houhora Chiefs hosted Ahipara Arrows where there was a lot of good finishes, the best being a 102 from Troy Denison. Simon Job top scored for the Chiefs while John McGovern buoyed by last weeks heroics had two great wins and was Arrows top scorer. However the overall class of the Chiefs prevailed and they win 12-4.
At the Awanui sports complex Awanui DWI took on RSA Kauri. Willie Ihimaera led the DWI scoring with 13 ton plus scores while Gina Dunn hit the match high finish of 84.
In a close contest Kauri Cam Thomas hit 11 ton plus scores while Leevon Popata hit a fantastic 180. With the match evenly poised DWI grab two out of the last three games and sneak home 9-7.
Mussel Rock hosted the Nomads and another high scoring match was recorded. There were 103 ton plus scores. The Rocks' Denny Watling hit 17 of them and a match high 112 finish. Jamie Hilton- Jones hit 15 tons and a 180. Nomads' David Tepania hit 16 tons and a 180. Harry Tepania had three good wins but Mussel Rock are in overpowering form and win comfortably 11-5.
The RSA was the venue for the Reds v Totara match. Totara have been the find of the season so far and Stu Job hit a match high finish with a two dart 100 while brother Dan Job led the Totara scoring. Les Roberts top scored for the Reds but Totara marched towards the first division with a 14-2 win.
Tuatua Tavern hosted the Awanui Magpies where Graham Maheno hit the match high finish of 72 and Ben Bowmar top scored. Magpies' top scorer was Nunu Peita and new player Caraz Temoana performed well in her debut. Tuatua too tough, win 16-0.
Houhora Warriors had the Aces to contend with at the bowling club. There were a lot of good finishes from both teams, the best being a 107 from Pete Watson. Warrior Shane Godinet top scored and Becca Marinkovich hit a top score 180 as did Aces' Jason Matthews. Jason and Robbie Matthews led the Aces' scoring and finishing. Warriors were in great doubling mood with Alan Ujdur back to his best. Warriors win 9-6.
With four weeks in round one left the race for placings in the three divisions for round two is getting interesting .

Group B. Totara 9, 90Mile and Chiefs 7, Coasters, Waipapakauri 6, Raiders and Arrows 5, Reds 3.
