DOUBLE WINNER: Taipa teenager Talia Rogers was crowned Miss Far North New Zealand 2014 at Te Ahu on Saturday night. The 18-year-old Northland DHB employee, who works at Kaitaia Hospital and is planning a career in the health sector, made her final walk down the catwalk wearing her crown and sash before a packed main auditorium, having moments before won the People's Choice award. Sixteen-year-old Kaitaia College student Stevie-Marie Newsome (Ahipara) was crowned Miss Teen Far North New Zealand.
