A sailing race for anything with a sail proved to be a hit on Saturday afternoon with most of the proceeds going to a good cause. Proceeds went to the Coastguard, St John Ambulance, Ruakaka Skate Park, and Marsden Yacht and Boat Club’s Learn to Sail initiative. Northern Advocate photographer Tania Whyte went along and captured some of the action.
