Mayoral Cycle Challenge 2 Northland
Just over 100 riders took part in the second Mayoral Cycle Challenge on the Okaihau-Kaikohe leg of Pou Herenga Tai Twin Coast Cycle Trail on Sunday. Among them was 12-year-old Eru Matene of Kaikohe, who completed the 13.5km ride on a unicycle; photographer Peter de Graaf was one of the last to finish after suffering a puncture near the half-way mark.
