Cricket Black Caps beat Zimbabwe

Nearly 5000 spectators turned up to Whangarei's Cobham Oval to watch the Black Caps take on Zimbabwe in the second one-day international of the three-game series - and the first ODI hosted in Whangarei. There was a slight delay for the start due to rain in the morning, but the weather gods smiled, and the sun broke through to allow play to start on the pristine Oval, with New Zealand batting first. Photographer Ron Burgin was in the crowd.
