Kaikohe's "walking art" festival
Everything from teabags to tyre tubes, plastic bags and video tape was transformed into fashion garments and walking works of art on Saturday night. The fifth Winter Fest of Walking Art, organised every two years by the Kaikohe Arts Council, featured entries in Mask, Streetwear, Bizarre Bra, Beauty and the Beast, and Art to Wear categories.
