Medical centre break-in
A Paihia medical centre was raided on Sunday night. The break-in at Bayview Medical Centre, on Bayview Rd, occurred late on Sunday or early Monday morning with the offenders forcing the front door and carrying out an extensive search of the premises.
However, Mid North police Senior Sergeant Peter Robinson said the burglars left empty handed. A story on Tuesday stated the break-in was at Paihia Pharmacy on Williams Rd. The Advocate apologises for the error.
