Megan Watts is an Auckland-based Lifestyle Multimedia Journalist (Audience) for New Zealand Herald.

Megan started working for the Herald in 2022 after working as an intern and writer for 18 months at Remix Magazine. Prior to that, she studied at the University of Auckland, achieving a Bachelor of Arts in English and Communication. When it comes to writing, her passions include exploring the fashion and beauty sphere, as well as reviewing the odd indie rock gig and chucking puns in as many features as possible. Travelling to far away places and telling tales both humorous and profound are also a staple in her journalistic endeavours.
