THE Poverty Bay Rugby Football Union is giving away a Poverty Bay jersey, replica 125, to a supporter each week.

This week’s winner is the woman in the picture to the right.

Gisborne Herald photographer Paul Rickard takes a photo of the crowd at each Heartland Championship home game, and a Herald staff member will pick a person at random from these photos.

Winners can collect their jersey at the rugby union office in Grey Street.

Poverty Bay union chief executive Marty Davis said the union was also selling the replica 125 jerseys on Facebook.

“We’re hoping to create a real ‘Red Army’ at the home games.”

Supporters wearing a replica Bay jersey to a Heartland Championship game get free entry.
