YMP A turned around last weekend’s 7-2 loss to THC and beat the same team 3-2 on the LJ Hooker Turf last night to qualify for the senior men’s hockey final next month.

The first of the senior playoff games was a thriller.

Alex Hyland, Kohere Tupara and Michael Bond scored the YMP goals, and Chris Fox and Tamanay Tuhou scored for THC.

YMP A advance to the men’s final on August 6 and thoroughly deserve it with just one loss and a draw in their otherwise winning record this season.

In the other men’s match last night, Lytton Old Boys A defeated YMP B 10-1.
