Their rugby team are the premier club champions and YMP are tracking more titles in Gisborne sport.

YMP's Anatea Taituha is pictured above in action, about to receive the ball in front of High School Old Girls' Saffron Eparaima, in a premier netball game in the YMCA. Top-of-the-table YMP won 61-45 after leading by just one goal at halftime as they continued their unbeaten run.

And in men's hockey, YMP A beat Lytton Old Boys HPY Advisors in a Poverty Bay men's club game on the turf at Harry Barker Reserve. YMP A beat the defending champions 4-1 — their second win over them this season as they head towards the business end of the competition.
