Newbie Premier Grade teams will be up against it again tonight in mid-week netball in the YMCA .

In the first of the two Pak’nSave competition  games, Claydens Waikohu (1 ) play Character Roofing YMP (2) at 6pm.

Waikohu’s last two games have been close — putting them in the situation of having to step up and work as a team.

The last time these two met resulted in a big win to Waikohu and they will be targeting another comprehensive victory to consolidate their top four spot.

YMP 2 have been competitive but they will need to work together for the full hour.

Whangara Old Girls (1) face Farmlands Ngatapa at 7.30pm.

Whangara have been playing well throughout the court and deserve their second-placed status on the table.

Ngatapa worked together nicely last week against Gisborne Girls’ High School Senior A to create some good turnovers. However, they are meeting a strong Whangara side and this is sure to be another tough game for them.
