THE Yee family flag flew high at the Poverty Bay B Grade snooker championships.

David Yee won the title while father Pang got to the semifinals after both topped their section in qualifying.

Pang’s title hopes were ended by Nathan Coombs in the semifinals while David knocked Bill Raggett out of the running.

David then beat Coombs 2-1 in the best-of-three-frames final.

Eight players competed in the championships, which were held at the Cosmopolitan Club.
