A DOUBLES tournament that Badminton Eastland ran in 2018 has been revamped as a competition being held over three weeks this month.

The first round of the Winter Wackers Badminton Doubles was held on Thursday last week.

New and experienced players, juniors and social players all seemed to be enjoying the competition.

Last-minute withdrawals caused a couple of hiccups but replacement players filled the gaps. Players are reminded that if they are going to be absent and can't find a replacement, they should ring Linda White.
