The winter sports season is ramping up for the main codes.
But on Saturday, there was a new ball game making an impact.
A pickleball tournament was held at the Badminton Centre and attracted good numbers to the court sport which features paddles and a special perforated plastic ball.
It was business as usual
on the rugby grounds and senior netball returned to the courts after a school holiday break.
Some of the country’s top young bouncers were in action at the Central Trampoline and Tumbling Champs at the Electrinet Sports Centre.
