THREE sides put together convincing wins in the latest round of Tairawhiti senior softball.

Gisborne Boys’ High School shut out Uawa 12-0 at Waikirikiri Park on Friday.

Boys’ High pitcher Caleb Kingi was unstoppable and Corban Richter was on fire with the bat, coming out with a home run.

Austin Sidney pitched his heart out for Uawa.

In the women’s competition, Rovers bounced back from a loss the previous weekend, beating Scorpions 10-3 on Thursday.

The Scorpions pitcher-catcher combination of Jana Hihi and Calvert Leach did the best that they could but Rovers’ sharper fielding skills shone through.

Daeleigh Waihi and Miriama Heke stood out for Rovers.

Rangatahi beat Whatatutu 18-1 on Saturday.

Te Marangai Lamont-Milner and Payton Wanoa were good for Rangatahi.
