The Gisborne Boys' High School under-15 rugby team have momentum.

But despite their 52-36 win against a Whakatane High School mixed side at the Rectory a fortnight ago, the Trevor Crosby-coached crew have to keep pushing.

At Rugby Park, Whakatane, at 1pm today they were to face the Trident High School under-16s coached by Steven Byford and Grant Bateson.

GBHS hooker Tyrese Nikola, who scored twice against Whakatane High on March 19, is unavailable but Gisborne Boys' High School's other two-try hero in Game 1, then-reserve loosehead prop Taran Wilson, was to start today.

Bay of Plenty's Sean Moore was to referee the match.
