The premier netball spotlight tomorrow falls firmly on the match between unbeaten Horouta Koura and Claydens Waikohu (1), and a battle royal can be expected. Senior netball returns tomorrow at Victoria Domain and the premier clashes will be highlighted by the game between TR Builds Horouta Koura and Claydens

Waikohu (1).

The 10am match features the two unbeaten teams in premier grade so far this season.

We can expect a very competitive encounter between those two teams, which contain experienced players, while the new players are developing those invisible links very nicely.

Waikohu (1) had two close wins but last Wednesday they worked together as a team and secured a convincing win for their third victory.

On the other hand, Horouta Koura started the round with two good wins, but had a very close tussle last week and sneaked through by just two goals.

All eyes will be on this game.

At 11am tomorrow, Whangara Old Girls (1) meet Character Roofing YMP(2).

Whangara lost convincingly against Turanga FM YMP two weeks ago, but have had two close games — winning one and losing the other last week.

YMP (2) have had mixed results as they work their new players into their game play.

When they all work together, they produce some very good passages of play and were unlucky to not collect a bonus point in their close loss against top of the table Claydens Waikohu Prem (1) two weeks ago.

The result of this game will depend on which team brings the players who work together, who treasure their own ball and pressure the opposition.

In the third premier match-up at 12pm, Turanga FM YMP (1) play Gisborne Girls’ High School Senior A.

YMP (l) had a close loss in their first game.

But they have bounced back with resounding wins since then.

They have experienced players who move the ball speedily through the court and work together on defence, creating turnovers.

Girls’ High have had good passages of play in their three losses this season, but they will need to work together for the full game to stay with YMP (1) tomorrow afternoon.

They will need to bring their top game.

Only the senior grades play tomorrow, but the courts at Victoria Domain will still be busy from 9am through to 2pm.

School grades begin next weekend.
