Two wins and one loss for Tairawhiti

TAIRAWHITI boys had two wins and one loss in their opening games in the North Island under-17 tournament at Pukekohe yesterday.

Coach Ray Noble’s side started their campaign with a 15-6 win against Manawatu and followed that with an 18-0 victory over Counties Manukau B.

However, Tairawhiti were no match for Hawke’s Bay, going down 15-0.
