Bowls Gisborne-East Coast lost to Waiariki Bowls by two points in a senior representative match at Ohope Bowling Club last Saturday.
The GEC men won three games, drew one and lost eight, for seven points with a minus-65 differential. Waiariki had 17 points with a plus-65 differential.
The GEC women
won eight games and lost four, for 16 points with a plus-27 differential. Waiariki had eight points with a minus-27 differential.
Waiariki were overall winners, 25-23.
