Scorpions lead the B Grade in Brezz’n Darts Club’s winter league competition. On Tuesday night they beat Stallions 15-6.

Meanwhile, with seven weeks of the competition to go, Ford Falcons lead the A Grade.

Against Stallions, Scorpions struck first. John Lynch led the way in the first set of singles, defeating Kane Akurangi 2-0. Teammate and pairs partner Hunter Eyles followed suit, defeating Patrick White 2-0.

Stallions hit back, Matt Morrell defeating Eric Moses 2-0, and partner William Brown defeating Bill Allen 2-1.

Scorpions anchors Shaolyn Edwards and Vic Mackey defeated Kazius Unuwai and Rocky Monika 2-1 and 2-0 respectively, which meant Scorpions took a 4-2 lead into the pairs section.

Scorpions applied pressure, winning the pairs 6-3 to give them an overall lead of 10-5 going into the reverse singles.

They kept the pressure on the Stallions right to the end, winning the reverse singles 5-1 for a 15-6 final scoreline.
