HANGING IN THERE: Auckland competitor Taia Mutu shows his riding skills in the second division saddle bronc event at the Gisborne Rodeo. Pictures by Paul Rickard

Competitors from all over the North Island took part in the Gisborne Rodeo this week.

Riders and animals moved on to compete at the Opotiki rodeo yesterday. Today they will compete at Taupo.

Results:

Bareback: Ross Dowling 1; Tom C Scott 2.

Rope and tie: Corey Church 1; Simon Tahau 2; Cody Davis 3; Aaron Church Jnr 4.
