Blair said he would not name his team until tonight.
He has added Cole Devonport and Jake Theron to the squad who travelled last week.
“Both have had a good pre-season and will be important to us, especially this weekend.
“Bringing Cole and Jake into the match-day squad gives me more options coming off the bench and ensures we have all our bases covered.”
Napier Marist, the reigning Pacific Premiership champions, opened their account with an 8-1 thumping of Havelock North Wanderers Seconds.
“They’ve been together for a few years and like to keep possession,” Blair said.
“We need to close them down, while retaining possession ourselves.
“That was one key point from last week’s game . . . we gave the ball away too much.”
Heavy Equipment Gisborne United celebrated their first game in the Pacific Premiership with a 4-1 win against Maycenvale United in Hastings.
Player-coach Corey Adams takes his side on the road again tomorrow when they play Hastings Western Rangers in Hastings.
Adams couldn’t have asked for a better start to his coaching career.
But Adams, one of the goalscorers last week, said his team weren’t getting carried away with the result.
“It was a good win first up, especially away from home but there’s no complacency.
“We’re still working on our fitness, and we have added Matt Adams (Corey’s cousin) to the squad.
“He’s come back from Wairarapa and he can play anywhere.
“One to 11 we’ve got a strong team but we’re a bit light on reserves, so getting Matt will help.”
Corey said having his father Chris calling the shots from the sideline was a huge help.
“It frees me up to concentrate on doing my job on the field.”
Western Rangers beat Taradale 1-0, away, last weekend.
