OBR put down some catches, allowing HSOB to get to 140.
OBR overhauled the target without too much trouble but Holden said they needed to be consistent.
Batsman Paul Stewart, who made an unbeaten 52, agreed they had to capitalise on their opportunities.
He was able to pick up some confidence by posting a fifty, however.
HSOB captain Carl Shaw is after consistency as well, and tomorrow’s game provides a chance to put right some things that went wrong last Sunday.
“We’re very excited to have another go,” he said.
“We will obviously want to place a higher value on our wickets and make OBR work harder to dismiss us.”
The bowlers toiled hard last week and Shaw wants his team to maintain their standards and take their chances in the field.
The game begins at 1pm.
Some of the players will be in action again on Sunday, when the Poverty Bay representative side take on the Hamilton second 11 in a 50-over match.
That game, at Harry Barker Reserve, is due to start at 10.30am.
