The C-Grade contest comprised Hawkins, Mark Kerekere, Kath McLatchie and Lynne Duffy competing in a three-frame round-robin competition.
Hawkins won each of her three games 2-0 to claim the title from Duffy.
Twelve players entered the handicap singles, held over from April due to Covid-19.
Busby Akuhata, Alan Scholes, Bill Raggett and Kevin Kennedy made it through to the semis where Akuhata beat Scholes and Kennedy beat Raggett.
Kennedy went on to win the final 2-0.
It was his third handicap singles crown, although he has a bit to do to catch elder brother Rex, who has won the title 10 times including six in a row from 1994 to 1999.
The next competition is the Presidents Trophy on Saturday, November 26.
This is an event for the winners and runners-up in competitions over 2022.
Entries close at 3pm on Wednesday, November 23.
