They’re not slowing down on the Coast.

Last week’s games in H Blackbee Contractors Ngāti Porou East Coast men’s club rugby will be played tomorrow at the same times and venues.

Pango Productions Waiapu are to host Waima at George Nepia Memorial Park, Rangitukia, from 11.30am.

The women from those clubs will do battle at 2pm.

Three men’s fixtures will also kick off at 2pm.

Tokararangi of Te Araroa face the might of Hikurangi Te Maunga at Te Araroa Domain and Hicks Bay are at home to defending champions Tihirau Victory Club of Cape Runaway at Kawakawa Mai Tawhiti, Wharekahika in Round 7.

The Hicks Bay ladies take on TVC in Round 6 of Enterprise Cars NPEC women’s club rugby at 11.30am.

Waima captain Dale Banks will start on the reserves bench and take the field at loosehead prop.

Saul Parata and Manaia Tuari are the locks.

Fetcher Ptolemey Niania, halfback Chad Chambers and first-five Slade Tiopira are all quality players.

The Lisa Muller-coached Waima will need to be at their best tomorrow as Waiapu are a tough bunch.

Will Bolingford’s Waiapu crew came within five points of Hicks Bay (17-12) a fortnight ago.

Captain openside flanker Bolingford scored a great second-half try himself at home that day.

Tokararangi versus Hikurangi is historically one of the toughest clashes in all of club rugby on the Coast. There is no reason to think that tomorrow’s instalment will be any different.

Hicks Bay at home will test TVC, who on current form must go in as favourites.
