ENTERPRISE Cars Swim Team competitors set two New Zealand and 16 Hawke’s Bay-Poverty Bay records at the national short-course swimming championships at the National Aquatic Centre in Auckland this month.

Michael Pickett set national records for the 15-year male 50-metre and 100m freestyle races.

Hawke’s Bay-Poverty Bay records were set by Pickett in the 15yr male 50m, 100m and 200m freestyle, and 50m and 100m butterfly; by Olivia Corrin in the 17yr female 200m, 400m and 800m freestyle, and in the open 400m and 800m freestyle; by Tyler Finau in the 13yr female 100m freestyle, 100m butterfly, and 200m and 400m individual medley; by Joshua Taylor-Martin in the 18yr male 100m individual medley; and by Matt Scott in the male open 1500m freestyle.

Pickett won gold in the 15yr male 50m, 100m and 200m freestyle races, and 50m and 100m butterfly.

Finau won silver in the 13yr female 200m free and 200m and 400m individual medley, and bronze in the 50m, 100m and 400m free, and 200m back and fly.

Taylor-Martin won silver in the 17/18yr male 100m freestyle and bronze in the 50m free, and was first in the open B final of the 50m free.

Corrin won silver in the 17/18yr female 400m and 800m free, and bronze in the open 400m free.

Denby Gallagher won bronze in the 15yr female 50m free.

Jaimee Fisher won bronze in the 19-and-over female 400m IM.

Scott was second in the male open B final of the 400m IM.

Results for Enterprise club members from the short-course championships

Jack Keepa, 13yr male: 4th 200 IM, 6th 100m backstroke, 5th 100 IM, 9th 100m free, 7th 50m back, 10th 50m free.

Nathan Proctor, 15yr male: 11th 100m breaststroke, 12th 400 IM, 15th 100 IM, 13th 200 br.

Joshua Taylor-Martin, 17/18yr male: 8th 50m fly, 6th 100 IM, bronze 50m free, 6th 100m fly, silver 100m free, 1st open B final 50m free, 9th open 100m free final.

Michael Pickett, 15yr male: gold 200m free, gold 50m fly, gold 50m free, gold 100 fly, gold 100m free, 8th open A final 50m free.

Tyler Finau, 13yr female: silver 200m free, 4th 50m fly, silver 200 IM, bronze 400m free, 5th 100 IM, bronze 50m free, silver 400 IM, bronze 200m back, 4th 100m fly, bronze 100m free, bronze 200m fly, 8th in the open 400 IM.

Denby Gallagher, 15yr female: 10th 50m fly, 9th 200m IM, 7th 50m br, bronze 50m free, 6th 100m free.

Olivia Corrin, 17/18yr female: 7th 200m free, silver 400m free, 8th 50m free, silver 800m free, bronze open 400m free.

Matt Scott, 19-and-over male: 5th 400 free, 2nd open B final 400 IM, 6th 200 IM.

Jaimee Fisher, 19-and-over female: 7th 200m free, 6th 200 IM, 4th 400m free, bronze 400m IM, 8th 100m free, 5th 200m fly.
