GBHS and Ngati Porou winGisborne Boys’ High School Black beat Uawa 74-47 to win the Gisborne Basketball Association men’s club championship on Saturday night.

Ngati Porou beat Lytton High School 79-59 in the women’s final.

In the men’s B Grade final, Lytton beat The Young and the Useless 65-52.

Bay and Coast sides beatenWellington Centurions under-18s beat Poverty Bay 57-10 in the Hurricanes Youth Rugby Council tournament for the Trustbank Central Secondary Schools Shield.
