CyclingGisborne Cycling Club events — visitors and new cyclists welcome.

Saturday — Club race (non-series): 39-kilometre handicap race. Sign on: 1.30pm to 1.50pm at Bilham Road. Start: 2pm. Marshals: Noel Holden, Neil Koevoet.

Sunday — Group ride at 8am from Avantiplus Maintrax. This is a friendly group ride for anyone wanting to ride with others. Approximate pace will be 25kmh.

Running/walkingGisborne Harrier Club events

Sunday — Gizzy Trail Run No.5: Millmore Forest (off Mander Road). Registration: 9.15am. Start: 10am. Dress in blue to show support for the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Bake sale and donation buckets available. All money raised will go to the cause. Short, medium, and long courses — all welcome. Free for Gisborne Harrier Club members. Adult/youth casual: $15/$5. Under 7s: free. Remember to bring your drink bottle and keep-cup. This is a waste-free event.
