Eastland Kart Club tomorrow runs its sixth points meeting of the season.

Racing starts at 10am and is free to view.

The track is in Aerodrome Road, off Awapuni Road.

The 2021 NZCT New Zealand Canoe Sprint Championships have been rescheduled to take place on May 14, 15 and 16 at Lake Karapiro.

The championships were to have taken place yesterday, today and tomorrow but on Monday Canoe Racing New Zealand announced the postponement of the event because of uncertainty over Covid Alert Levels that might be in place this weekend.

Four potential dates were explored in consultation with clubs, a Canoe Racing New Zealand statement said.

After consideration of club feedback and “a range of factors” it was decided to go with the May dates.

The dates would also work well for the sport's high-performance athletes in the countdown to the Tokyo Olympics Games, the statement said.
