YMP 2 got a right royal welcome to Premier Grade in the Gisborne YMCA on Saturday morning when the club’s top team racked up the biggest scoreline of the season to date.

Turanga FM YMP demolished clubmates YMP (2) 84-20 in a one-sided Gisborne Pak’nSave senior competition game.

YMP jumped out of the blocks with a dominant first quarter to lead 19-4.

They kept the scoring pressure on from there to be up  39-10 at halftime.

YMP’s unrelenting flow through the court, fierce pressure on the YMP (2) ball carriers and accuracy under the hoop saw them soar further ahead to lead 62-14 at the three-quarter mark.
