FAMILIES featured at Eastland Kart Club's end-of-season prize-giving at the Cosmopolitan Club last Sunday.

Shanan Gooch won the Rotax class and his son Koby won the Junior KTs.

Conrad Gooch won the Rookie class, Nixon Gooch was third in the same class, and Brodie Gooch was second in the Young Guns class.

Phil Kemp won the Pro class 200s, while daughter Tess won the Women's KT100 class. Phil's son Callum was third in the Young Guns class.

Alex Rosie won the KT100 Light class, while brother Cole won the Pro class 270s.

The White brothers, Aaron Whiteman and his daughters, and the Rogers family also did well.

Around 85 people attended the prize-giving. Local speedway streetstock legend Neil Gooch was master of ceremonies for the event.

Club president and former super saloon driver Sam Lyle handed out the trophies, many of which were put up by local businesses.

Hard luck mechanical: Conor White.

Mechanical meltdown: Aimee Whiteman.

Most spectacular incident: Paul Farmer.

Most promising driver: Hamish Worsnop.

Perseverance award: Ella Nicholson.

Best parent helper: Ian Wells.

Michie family highest points: Vinzent MacGregor.

Cosson Family Trophy for Rookies five to eight years old: Conrad Gooch 1; Jay Prosser 2; Nixon Gooch 3.

Gisborne Curtains Trophy for Young Guns eight to 15 years old: Vinzent MacGregor 1; Brodie Gooch 2; Callum Kemp 3.

Gisborne Blast and Paint Trophy for Junior KT drivers 12 to 17 years old: Koby Gooch 1; Toby White 2; Graeson Wells 3.
