Both premier grade netball games at the YMCA tonight should draw plenty of support and be entertaining match-ups.

The first of the Pak'nSave premier games features F45 High School Old Girls in action against Gillies Electrical GGHS Senior A at 6pm.

When they last met, it was a tight game.

Girls' High started fast and furious and pressured HSOG into errors, to lead at half time.

But as the second half went, the experience of HSOG shone through and they turned the tables to win by nine goals.

The students have been playing good netball and are starting to believe in themselves.

But they will need to be consistent throughout the court for the full hour, as High School Old Girls will have worked on those previous errors and will be determined to take this win.

A close game can be expected.

The second clash pits Claydens Waikohu 1 against JT Contracting Horouta Gold at 7.30pm tonight.

Their previous meeting was a tight contest, with the win going to Waikohu by five goals.

Waikohu started the game well and were leading by eight goals at the end of the first quarter. Horouta were more consistent in treasuring possession from the second quarter and the deficit was slowly pegged back.

Both teams' attackers worked together to create space and delivered good ball into the circle. That same sort of play and competitiveness is likely tonight.

Supporters will be out in full force for both games, so the atmosphere at the YMCA should be electric.
