TWO Gisborne swimmers are on a Swimming NZ long list to compete at the 2018 Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires.
Enterprise Cars Swim Team members Olivia Corrin and Michael Pickett are among the 33, which will be reduced to a squad of four boys and four girls for the self-fundedevent.
The team will be named after the New Zealand age group championships in Auckland in April.
All 33 swam a long-course time that earned 700 or more FINA points — a requirement for being nominated for the Games.
Pickett is on a scholarship in Brisbane while Corrin has been busy competing for club and region in surf lifesaving, building towards the national champs in Gisborne in March.
