Gisborne Speedway Club members have their final preparations under way ahead of the Professional Fleet Maintenance New Zealand production saloon car championships at the Eastland Group Raceway on Friday and Saturday nights.
“We have been doing some extra work to ensure the track is in tip-top condition, the very bestwe can make it,” said club president Neil Gooch. The 42 drivers expected will take part in a “meet and greet” on Thursday night, followed by scrutineering of their cars on Friday at the track. Father and daughter Crystal Peach (10G) and Dave Gooch (7G), pictured above) are among the title contenders.
