Brothers Matthew and Dylan Foster, their cousin Kayla Trowell and the boys’ father Mike Foster won the Tom Duffin Fours with three wins and a draw. They were the only qualifiers in the event.

The day before, Mike Foster teamed up with his mother-in-law Kaye Easton to win the White Family pairs, beating father and daughter Malcolm and Zoe Trowell on a deciding end to

clinch victory.

The following under-18 bowlers have been selected to play against Tauranga in Whakatane: Dylan Foster, Souta Preddey, Kayla Trowell, Quaylahn Casey, Adam Rickard, Sean Haskins, Rachael Rickard and Zoe Trowell.

Reserve: Jaykawn Casey.

The following 12 bowlers have been selected to contest the Hunt Trophy in Hawke’s Bay against Napier: Matthew Foster, Jay Casey, Adam Rickard, Rachael Rickard, Arnold Hutchins, Dylan Foster, Kayla Trowell, Lois Lamont, Malcolm Trowell, Andrew Rickard, David Lynn and Bryan Pulley.
