Day 3 results of the Northern Districts senior secondary schoolboys’ cricket tournament at Harry Barker Reserve —

Poverty Bay 150 (R Schwass 30, P Stewart 28; K Bird 2-2, C Gordon 2-13, N Parkes 2-23) Northland 152-6 (S Webb 52, A Poore 29; J Colbert 2-22, T Mitchell 2-28). Northland won by four wickets.

Northern Districts Invitation 194 (L Halligan 29, B Skudder 24, J Clare 20, D Blundon 20; D O’Brien 4-42, S Sola 2-25) Counties-Manukau 195-3 (M Marconi 74 not out, T Florence 37, L Marconi 32, C Dickson 20; J Pretorious 1-20, R Kleuskens 1-24). Counties-Manukau won by seven wickets.

Bay of Plenty Coastlands 184-9 (C Wills 41, D Crombie 35, J Logan 28, F Dempsey 27; J Collins 3-9, K Thomas 3-20, T Houston 2-45) Waikato Valley 175 (T Houston 62no, J Collins 43; D Crombie 4-36, C Riley 3-28). Coastlands won by nine runs.

Bay of Plenty Lakelands 142-9 (B Astwood 39, C Tupaea 30, N McNeish 24no, B Wiggins 22; J Parker 3-16, C Townsend 2-24, S Achary 2-29) Hamilton 143-5 (C Burgess 45no, K Price 23; C Tupaea 2-15, B Astwood 2-16). Hamilton won by five wickets.

Day 2 results (T20 playoffs) —

T20 championship final: Northland 106-8 (C Gordon 24; C Townsend 2-16, G Ott 2-22) Hamilton 107-5 (C Townsend 22, K Price 22, B Peck 2-14). Hamilton won by five wickets.

Third/fourth playoff: Waikato Valley 122-6 (A Wilton 44, T Houston 38; J Logan 2-13, F Dempsey 2-19) Bay of Plenty Coastlands 123-3 (J Logan 50, D Preston 27, D Crombie 24; K Thomas 2-16). Coastlands won by seven wickets.
