DAY 3 of the New Zealand short-course swimming championships in Auckland reaped more medals for Gisborne teenager Jack Keepa.
The Enterprise Cars Swim Team member won silver in the 14-year boys’ 100 metres individual medley and bronze in the 200m breaststroke.
Keepa recorded 1 minute 1.82 seconds in the 100m
IM, 0.60 of a second behind Sam Brown of the Capital club, and 2:32.63 in the breaststroke.
Clubmate Ava Smith was ninth in the 15yr girls’ 100m IM and eighth in the 50m freestyle, while another Enterprise team member, Nathan Proctor, was seventh in the 15yr boys’ 100m IM and ninth in the 200m breaststroke.
